Call of Duty berhasil menjadi Franchise Terbaik Sepanjang Masa melalui voting yang dilakukan oleh Guinness Book of World Records.
Game perang PC keluaran Activision ini berhasil mengalahkan Mario, Minecraft, Halo, Grand Theft Auto, dan Zelda.
Sebagai bagian dari peluncuran Guinness World Records 2015 Gamer’s Edition, Guinnes melakukan polling kepada 5000 gamer dari 140 negara di dunia, menanyakan game apa yang paling difavoritkan oleh mereka.
Hasilnya telah muncul dan seri Call of Duty milik Activision lah yang berhasil berada di posisi puncak, melebihi hasil dari Super Mario Bros., Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto, Halo, The Legend of Zelda, serta puluhan game lainnya.
