The Killers kini dapat menyebut diri mereka band greatest hits. Band alternatif rock dari Las Vegas itu telah mengumumkan bahwa mereka akan merilis sebuah koleksi lagu-lagu terbaik mereka dalam sebuah album berjudul Direct Hits pada tanggal 11 November mendatang. Direct Hits akan berisi 15 lagu populer mereka, termasuk single mereka Somebody Told Me, Mr. Brightside, When You Were Young dan Human.
Greatest hits mendatang itu juga akan menampilkan lagu baru Just Another Girl dan Shot at the Night, dimana Shot at the Night direkam oleh Anthony Gonzales dari M83. Lagu itu juga kini tersedia di iTunes.
Direct Hits akan hadir dalam edisi standar dan deluxe. Versi deluxe-nya menawarkan tiga buah lagu tambahan, demo nostalgia dari Mr. Brightside, lagu Be Still dari album 2012 mereka Battle Born dan remix Calvin Harris dari lagu When You Were Young. Sebagai tambahan, sebuah Fan Deluxe Edition dari album tersebut juga tersedia yang berisi CD deluxe, sebuah DVD dokumenter mengenai karir The Killers dan lima buah vinyl 10-inci yang berisi seluruh lagu dari rilisan Direct Hits tersebut.
